Property Damage - Automobile

What type a lawyer do I seek for Auto damage recovery. Someone crashed into my auto in my driveway and did enough damage to total it. I was not in the car. It was not moving. We both had Liability Ins.

If you are talking only about vehicle damage, and no personal injuries are involved, you first should make a run at doing your own settlement. Do your research to see what the car is worth such as blue book values, etc., and consul with acquaintances who are knowedgeable about used vehicles. Perhaps you may see what kind of offer you can get, and then retain a lawyer for a short conference to review the settlement proposal for you. Otherwise, it will be difficult to make it economical for you or the lawyer to have the lawyer to take over the whole claim. Who knows, you may have a claim that is not even disputed.
