Venue
If you file a suit in Small Claims Court, and they file a motion to transfer Venue, what can I do to stop it from being changed? can they do that?

They can do that if your petition does not provide for venue in the court you chose. Tex. Civil Practices & Remedies Code provides for correct venue. Depending upon the facts alleged, the Defendant has a right to be sued in his precinct, unless there is some legal excuse not to.
