Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
i came here in 2006 to Ga and applied for a work permit . I was denied on the grounds that my status had changed, as I got married during our application. We are now having to reapply in texas, and it has put a huge strain on our marriage as i havent been able to get a social in three plus years ive been here. Which means i cant drive , make any money or have access to any of the basic rights, and i have been married to a citizen for over three years. I just want to get a work permit so I can take care of my family. Can u help. Frustrated beyond belief.

I understand your frustration.
How/on what visa did you come to GA in 2006? Were you inspected and admitted by immigration officer?
After denial in 2006, were you referred to Immigration Court?
Based on what application did you apply for a work permit? To apply for a work permit, a person has to have an underlying main application pending with the USCIS.
Immigration law is federal by nature, and moving from GA to TX should not have affected your pending applications, as it'd be still decided by the DHS or Immigration Court.
You need to clarify your eligibility for me or any other qualified lawyer to advise you.
