Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
i was arrested in NE back in 1998 and charged with third degree assult. Latter the case was dismissed. i have a letter from the court stating the case is dismissed
i just filed my naturilization on 09/18 and my interview should be comming soon anytime. .
My question, was that arrest jepordize my my naturalization case? i am kind of worry about it?
1 Answer from Attorneys
This 11-year old arrest and criminal charges shouldn't jeopardize your naturalization case, assuming that you've disclosed it in your application and have certified court documents verifying the disposition of the criminal case.
