Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas

F1 holder marrying with resident:

Hello i just recently married with permanent resident.I have my Oncampus job also.I am not applying for I-130 as it takes 3-4 years.I will consult some one to process for H1 first.My question is

Do I need to change my ssn,passport,Licence after my marriage???

How it will reflect on my W-2 forms(Which name should i use)??

I have Indian passport on which i have visa stamp.DO i need to change my Passport,Driver's Licence and SSN card as my LAST name is changed.

You do not need to change your name on your documents, unless you want to. The government accepts that this is a matter of personal preference and does not reflect on the legitimacy of the marriage. My advice is that you file for the I130 AND the H1. In the past I have seen persons with an H1 get laid off, or companies go out of business, and then that waiting time has been wasted. Also you husband may qualify for and choose to apply for citizenship. Thank you, TCL
