Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas

I am a Greencard applicant. My husband (USC) is not working, so we will use a cosponsor, my uncle. My uncle is a LPR, and would like to apply for citizenship next week, the same time I will be submitting my forms. Question is, will his position as our cosponsor affect his application for citizenship? And how much should he be making, therefore, to show he can support us (I have looked at i864p, and I just dont know how to convert all those %'s into actual figures, help?)?

Yes, a lawful permanent resident uncle can be a co-sponsor. It shouldn't affect his own application for naturalization.

As to specific numbers for the Affidavit of Support, I can't answer this question on the forum without knowing more about his family situation and dependents, etc.
