Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
Hi
I have Permanent residence card from 12 years. 7 years ago i was arrested twice for theft. Now i wanna apply for the citizenship.Do u think it will affect my status? Do u think should i hire a lawyer or i can do it myself?

Were you convicted for theft offenses? What was the conviction(s)? You should consult an immigration attorney *before* filing a naturalization application because theft offenses can be a ground for deportation (removal).
