Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
Hi,
I am in 5th year of H1B and havent filed for green card. I exactly have one year before my H1B expires. What are my options to extend the H1B after 6 years cap. I do have some out of country trips which might buy me approximately 5 months. Please advise.

If there is no permanent employment offer and no employer is going to petition for your perm. residency, you might be able to extend it for additional 5 months (trips abroad). Or go abroad for at least one year, which will restart 6-year H-1B period.
