Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
Hi and Thank you, iam a green card holder. Its going for a year with the card i would like to ask can i ask for financial aid for college and if i can or do would hurt me or would that prevent me from applying for citizenship when i can apply which could be in about 5 yrs.Thank you.

Yes, you can apply for student loans. Financial aid for college would not prevent one from applying for citizenship in the future. Mainly becaise finnacial aid is actually a loan that you will have to repay upon graduation.
