Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
Immigration
I am a U.S. citizen married to an immigrant from the Dom. Rep. We are getting a divorce and I am his sponsor. He has gone to the biometric meeting but not the Interview. Can I get out of being his sponsor at this time or am I obligated?

Re: Immigration
If your husband's application for adjustment of status was not approved yet (you did not have an interview, and he did not get a green card) - then, yes, it's not too late to back up as a petitioner and a sponsor.
