Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
Can a person with just a visa work in the United States?
1 Answer from Attorneys
Only certain visas authorize a foreign individual to work in USA. With some other visas, you need to apply and receive a Work Permit before you can work. With other visas, you are not authorized to work under any circumstances (e.g. visitor's visa).
