Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
i petitioned my parents for green card which wa aprroved ,waiting for interview appt. and they have a 15 y/o son ( my brother). Can my brother go with my parents in the US?
1 Answer from Attorneys
No, your brother can't. He is not eligible for an immigrant visa, as no dependents are allowed in this visa category. You have an option of filing a separate petition for your brother. Waiting time in this visa category will be much longer. Or the parents can petition for him when they become permanent residents.
