Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas
An insurance company issued a check for a roof claim submitted by one of their agents, but issued it to the wrong bank. Upon returning the check to them for correction, they now have asked a third party adjuster to come out and review the claim prior to issuing a new check. Is this legal?

"legal" always as the insurer has the money to fight..but if they pay less than the original estimate..you may have a claim for unfair practices..
