Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas
Insurance Medical Claim Paid then Insurance Company claims overpayment
I am a health provider who submitted claim(s) for proceedures completed out of network. After the normal run around, the health insurance company finally paid the claim(s). Now I receive a letter from the insurance company recovery division claiming an overpayment on these claim(s) and they demand a majority of the claim(s) back. What are my avenues of recourse. Is there any references or information out there as to options on how to handle these situations?
