It is almost impossible to get the policy limits from your own insurance company without a lawyer. The reason is that your insurance company is in no jeopardy until you have hired an attorney. And it should not be just any attorney. Hire a specialist in personal injury litigation who knows how to build your case properly and how to win a lawsuit against a big insurance company. And, finally, do NOT hire any attorney who advertises on television (or anywhere else for that matter).
