Legal Question in International Law in Texas
I am a US citizen and have been all my life. My question is...Can a person or company from another country (Non-US Citizen) sue me for an Intellectual Property Violation? If they can, would it be via their country's court system or the US court system? If I plan to never visit this country ever in my life, what could happen if I ignored any legal threats/lawsuits? Would I only be in trouble if I went to that country? or could this negatively affect me while living in the US?
