Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas
I am a contract employee working for AT&T. The company I am contracted with is Pyramid Consulting. They notified me that due to an internal error on their part, they would have to reduce my rate of pay over two dollars an hour and that they will have to back date their error a month and deduct money from my paycheck for overpayment. Is this legal? I have been paid the contract amount, signed by both parties since February 2010.
