Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

Isn't this employment discrimination?

If a company openly advertises on their website that they have an ''asia graduate recruitment campaign'', doesn't that sound like they are discriminating against other races? If I try to apply with them and they turn me down, would I have a case against them based on that fact? I have also seen an ad lately looking for a ''hispanic professional'', which I feel is also discriminatory. Is there any way to report this kind of discrimination without actually applying for these jobs?

Re: Isn't this employment discrimination?

No. Generally, businesses may have ethnic preferenced job postings if they have race neutral business reason(s) for doing so (i.e. bilingual or cultural understanding needed for international trade). Generally, a job candidate would have to establish that he/she is qualified for the job in all aspects (experience, education, bilingual) and is rejected solely on his/her race or national origin before a legal claim of discrimination in failure to hire can be established.
