Legal Question in Military Law in Texas
17yr and 11months
I am pending a special courts martial. I am considering a plea bargain of guilty, with the stipulation that I get a Gen, Under Honorable D/C. I know I will lose my Education Benefits. I have had a commendable career with numerous acheivements and recognitions. My charges are Fraternization and Disobeying Orders and Army regs. Along with Obstruction of Justice. I know the max punishments I am facing. (one/one/and done). Should I try and fight for my retirement or take the hit and try t oget an upgrade in my discharge to Honorable?

I would hire legal counsel outside of the military and try to fight for your rights. I don't know all of the facts of your case, the expense is well worth it.
Good luck!!
