Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

Dog bite

Over two years ago my daughter was bitten by a dog. I never pursued and legal action since I felt fortunate that it wasn't any worse than it was. Now 2 1/2 years later, after the statute of limitations has expired, my daughter is experiencing fairly regular pain associated with what I assume is scar tissue. Can this case be opened up considering the circumstances?

Re: Dog bite

Your daughter has 2 years after attaining the age of majority within which to file her claim. Statutes of limitations do not begin to run against minors until they attain the age of majority.
