Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas
I have a neighbor that tells people that I broke into her house and I do drugs. All kinds of bad things she has stopped someone around the corner that didn't know me always calls the cops on me for stupid things like the kids stepped in her yard. Can I sue her for slander or defimation of charecter? Granted the people that lived here prior did due that and many people have told her I am not that girl she still don't listen. I have never even had a speeding ticket. I dont let my kids go outside because I am stressed about what story shes going to come up with next she has threatened to call cps for no reason many times

You can sue for defamation, but unless she has a great deal of wealth, a lawyer would not want to represent you unless you paid his or her hourly rate. It could get expensive. If you don't mind the expense, then contact a lawyer.
