Legal Question in Product Liability in Texas
Buggy Burritos
I found a part of a bug in a burrito, from a bag purchased at a wal-mart store. Is there anything that can be done?

Re: Buggy Burritos
Yes. Any reasonable person would (a) notify the manufacturer of the product and (b) notify Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart and/or the manufacturer of the product may also refund your money and probably give you some form of gift certificate or store credit.

Re: Buggy Burritos
this was certainly an unpleasant occurrence. unless you were injured by the product there would not be any legal action that you could pursue other than perhaps notifying the store and asking for your money back. you could also report the matter to your local health department responsible for inspecting and certifying the store.
