Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Foreclosure Advice

I'd rec'd a letter from an attorney's office that foreclosure proceedings had been started but I've been working with the loss mitigation/homeowner assistance dept with my mtg lender. I called my lender and they've put a halt on the proceedings and will contact me with the attorney fees and also stated that I qualify for modification to my loan.

What can I expect to pay for atty fees and usually what type modifications are given when working with the homeowner assistance dept?

Re: Foreclosure Advice

They could run from a couple of hundred to a couple of thousand and most times they will roll it into your modified loan amount and new payments. Best of luck.
