Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Legal Access to Property

We just purchased property that is listed as having ''no legal access to property'' on the title. The property is on a public road in a residential area where the RR USED to run. The road used to run to the hghwy but when the tracks were removed the road was removed from the corner of our property to the hwy. (You now have to go one block up and over to get to our street)Our property has a gated driveway that used to face the road but now does not. To get to it now since the road only goes left you have to turn right onto the gravel where the old road used to be. My question is how do I get this removed from my title? I have called seven city and county offices and no one is of any help!
