Expect the new landlord to contact you to either sign a new lease and continue renting or ask you to move. You will have time since they must give notice to vacate to you if they take that route. You will probably lose your security deposit because new landlord has no responsibility for it. You could request return of the deposit from original landlord and you can make a claim in small claims court to recover it if it isn't returned, but if original landlord is insolvent, don't expect anything because, if you win, you may be awarded uncollectable judgment.
