Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Texas

Employee terminated for theft, then files sexual harrasment

almost a year ago an two employees were talking and laughing about how another Female employee would sexually harass them. I asked them what they were talking about and once I learned of it, asked if they wanted to post a formal complaint, and they said no. I still spoke the the female who harrassed them, to ensure it would not happen again. 8 months later one of the employees was fired for theft, and is now wanting to file charges of sexual harrassment. Does this person have a legitimate claim, when he is obviously disgruntled by how he was dismissed from the company?

The two issues are different and one does not wipe out his right on the other. He still may have that sexual harassment claim - it would all depend on the facts of the case. Call us if you wish at7137714775
