Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas
WHO HAS THE RIGHT OF WAY IN AN ALLEY? I was exiting the alley when another vehicle pulled into the alley. Should the other vehicle back out of the alley? Or should I back into the alley until I can move out of the way?

There's no law on this. I've always assumed that it depends on which person is more stubborn.
I am reminded of the incident when Abrahma Lincoln met Stephen Douglass in a small town for a debate. It had been raining, and the streets were muddy, and a narrow board had been laid down for people to walk on. Lincoln was walking from one direction, and Douglass was walking from the other direction. Douglass said, "I never step aside for a rascal or a scoundrel." Lincoln said, "Well, I always do," and stepped off the board into the mud so that Douglass could proceed.
