Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas
Turning right on red light
The officer said to me I didn't come to a complete stop before I turned right, which I completely disagree. On the ticket says I ran a red light. Is it the same? If so how can I fight it?

Re: Turning right on red light
The PD version that you did not come to a complete stop, is the same as running a red light. Bottom line is that in a 'he said/she said' trial before a JP or Muni Court Judge, it is unlikely that you would prevail. You are probably better off paying a lawyer $50 to get you deferred adjudication, pay the admin fee and get it dismissed. TCL
