Legal Question in Veterans Law in Texas
Brother's Death Without a Will
My brother was a vetran with a trust fund with the Veteran Administration. He is survived by his two adult kids and three siblings. Does his trust fund monies get divided up by all or just his kids?

Re: Brother's Death Without a Will
This depends on state law. I am not licensed in Texas, thus I can only speak in general terms.
In the case of intestacy, a person dies without a will, the normal way would be that the estate would pass to the children first, the parents second, and finally to the siblings, the brothers and sisters.
Therefore, in this case it would normally go to his children.
