Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

I'm 18 and right before my dad passed away he got a large amount of money and was supposed to put it in a trust for me and my siblings. We were not told how to find the money or who the lawyer was and I need help finding the money. I don't even know where to start looking.

are you the oldest? where is your mother?..uncles aunts?...dad's friends..etc...sounds like you were not close to your dad and that is a problesm
