Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Deadline

Is there a timeframe an estate must be completed once a will has been probated in the State of Texas? And, if so, what is the timeframe and penalty, if any?

Thanks!

Re: Deadline

There is no deadline within which an estate must be completed. If you believe there's something improper, you can request an accounting from the executor/executrix/administrator after a year has gone by since the will was probated.
