Inheritance Rights

My mother and I were abandoned by my father when I was about 5 years old. There was never any child support paid to my mother.

I was reunited with my biological father many years later( a very brief and one time visit). I learned that he had remarried and had a step child. He did a few years back and I am curious about my inheritance rights...if any. Am I entitled to any part of his estate?

As a legal heir, you would be entitled to your share of his estate unless his will specifically excludes you.
