POD vs Probate
my stepdad passed i knew i was pod at bank ,paid for all funeral expenses.bank could not locate sig.cards. went court got letter of testimenary from probate court ,set up excutrix account.bank put on hold ,they found sign.crds after a year .now bank says i am pod wants acc. closed & cut chk to me,but now in probate theres a claim . What do i do , pls help.

Wish it were easy, but you will need an attorney to defend the claim on your behalf - or you could always give the claimant(s) the money.
