Legal Question in Immigration Law in United Kingdom

Hi, im 15, living in the UK, and I was wondering if i could move to the US when i turned 17. If i can, is there spesific states that i can go to? i know that i would need to prove i can sustain myself, which is why i am planning on 17 instead of 16, because my 16th birthday is only a few months away.

You can't move to USA without first being petitioned for permanent residency (green card) or a work visa. It's not easy to do. You have to have a close relative or an emplyer who poetitions for you. When priority date is current and a visa is available, one can apply for an immigrant visa or an appropriate work visa.
