Legal Question in Immigration Law in United Kingdom

I am a british citizen and my mother is american. I plan on visitin the US in september with my mum and she intends to file for green card for me. My question is can i apply for adjustment of status while there on a visa waiver? I am over 21 but unmarried.

No, you can't. As an individual over 21, you are not considered eligible for "immediate" adjustment and will have to wait for your priority date to become current. You can't wait in the USA, especially if you come on a visa waiver.
