Legal Question in Immigration Law in Utah
If you came to the U.S when you were 5 years of age what do you need to become a citizen?
1 Answer from Attorneys
If you came illegally and no one had petitioned for you prior to April 2001, and there are no any other eligibility grounds -- you can not become a citizen. You can't also become a permanent resident.
For a case-specific review of your situation, eligibility and legal advice, you shall consult a lawyer off of the public forum.
