Contract Validity
If someone has knowledge that a person is under the influence of alcohol, yet enters into a business contract with them regardless, is the contract enforceable?

It depends on all the facts and circumstances.
There are some cases where the court has held
that contracts signed by intoxicated people
are valid. It would be difficult to prove that
simply because someone is intoxicated, the
contract is invalid. On the other hand, if someone
is incompetent because they are an alcoholic,
the contract may be subject to challenge.
