Legal Question in Business Law in Virginia
Salary Ranges Unpublished
Is it legal for a corporate employer to withhold salary RANGE information for various positions from it's employees? Not specific information for a specific person, but general information regarding a positions salary ranges and it's criteria for the various levels in that position's range? My current employer will not release any information regarding salary ranges, and claims it is strictly confidential.
