What liability would a company incur if an agent (of the co) was attacked by a client in the clients home performing work related duties?

If you can prove that the customer attached your employee, then the company and employee wouldn't be liable for anything. If you can't prove it, then your potential liability depends on what the customer claims happened.

No liability at all, unless the agent did the attacking, which might then cause the company to incur what the law terms vicarious liability under
the so-called doctrine of respondeat superior.
