Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia

I sold a vehicle to a man about six months ago and the car had a couple of issues. the milage was incorrect and it needed struts. Well about a month later he totals the car and he is tring to sue me for 10000 because he said i said that i was advised that he car was unsafe to drive but told him it was fit to drive. What can he do??

Tell him to produce his evidence for his claim as to your alleged knowledge
of the car's supposedly impaired condition and, perhaps, you'll consider some sort of settlement, maybe. Otherwise, you'll see him in court and it'll be his word against yours---and any evidence you may have to offer the court in support of your position.
