Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
type of attorney for an auto claim
What type of attorney is needed for an auto claim? Purchased a certified Volvo from autotrader (volvo dealership) and it has been in need of serious repair (engine pulled) and has been recently purchased but in the shop twice already - over 3 weeks. Volvo dealership won't return calls and now I'm paying for a car that is most likely a lemon. I just want my money back and for them to reclaim the vehicle. Do I have a case?

Re: type of attorney for an auto claim
Yes, you may well have a case under Virginia's "lemon law" if you purchased the vehicle new and it's been in the shop at least three times within a specified time period and without having the problem(s) fixed which caused it to be brought there.
