12 year old accused of arson

My 12 year old son and another boy lit toilet paper on fire in a chruch bathroom in virginia. They thought that the fire had gone out, but it had not and considerable damage was done to the bathroom before the fire was put out. My son has never been in trouble before in his life - not even in school. The other boy confessed to hatching the plan ad lighting the match. Because the church was occupied, the ATF was involved. I'm terrified that my honor roll/ GATE son is going to prison! Help!!

You should talk to an attorney to discuss your son's case. Given what you said it is unlikely that your son would be tried as an adult but you want to make sure your lawyer has experience handling serious cases in juvenile court.
