Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
If someone has had their drivers license suspended and does not have any car insurance and is still driving while in possession of a firearm (which he has a license for) is this a crime?

Yes, but the crime is DWS (Driving While Suspended), a Class 1 misdemeanor
offense under Virginia law and has nothing to do with the firearm. (See Va. Code
Sec. 46.2-301B.)
