Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
I have had an excellent prosecutor work on my case. I was wondering if it was appropriate to give her a much deserved gift now that the case has been resolved. Please advise.

I don't think that would be appropriate, although because it is AFTER the case is over it might not be legally wrong in any way. I would suggest that the best way you could show your appreciation might be to give him or her public praise for their professionalism, perhaps as a letter to the editor or perhaps as a letter to their boss the elected Commonwealth Attorney
