Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

Grand Larceny

I'm a minor at 17 years old and I commited grand larceny by giving discounts at my job that ends up totaling up to $221.54. I've never had any legal trouble and I'm a scholar student. I've never gotten in any trouble at my job. What do you think the punishment will be and what should I do?

Re: Grand Larceny

Grand larceny is a very serious charge(felony). The first thing you should do is to get a lawyer who has the necessary experience and knowledge regarding representing juveniles charged with criminal offenses in the Commonwealth in order to ensure that you have some chance of emerging from this unfortunate situation with minimum adverse consequences for your future.

This lawyer that you retain as your defense counsel should then be able to advise you competently regarding all other matter which are related to your case, including the possible penalties which you may face if you're found guilty.
