Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
some kids at a rival highschool in my town have been repeatedly urinating on a mural we have painted on our schools wall. they take videos and post them on social media every time with explicit captions and this has been done countless times over the past few months. can they get in trouble for this? are there any laws against it?
1 Answer from Attorneys
Yes, there are undoubtedly laws that apply to defacing school, i.e., public property in this particular
school district in the manner described and if this school's administrators have not yet reported it to the local police and prosecutors, then, perhaps, it's high time that some of the local folks should be finding out why not.
