Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
If a person has life on parole and gets arrested for a violation of probation (not seeing his/her parobation officer , after the p.o. is switched and you cannot get in contact with the new one, and no letter was sent to the place of residence regarding a meeting) what is the probability of that person getting out?

Never assume that the probation office , or the Court, will let you out of a lifetime probation by "default" due to some administrative error. Do all that you can to stay in touch with the probation office, even if you do not know the P.O. or one has not been assigned. Such behavior can go a long way toward the possibility that your "lfetime" probation can later be modified by an attorney to eliminate that intense restriction on your freedom.
