Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

probation transfer

my fiance has about 3 months of probation left and then he is supposed to be sent to boot camp for airforce training, unfortunately he is unable to continue living at his current residence and is about to be homeless, he wishes to move back to california to live with his family until he is sent for bootcamp, what are the required steps to be able to transfer his probation as soon as possible?

He should discuss with his Virginia probation officer the issue of having his probation transferred to California, although, if it's only for three months, that may not be feasible.
