As a juror is there an ''obligation'' to talk to the press, family members, lawyers or the public?

Re: After Verdict Juror Obligations

The message is not clear as to whether you were a petit (trial) juror or a grand juror. If you were a gand juror, you are actually obligated not to talk to anyone outside the jury room. As for trial jurors, you are under no obligation to talk to anyone and if they persist this might be considered harassment of a juror. In United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, there is actually a rule that prohibits attorneys from contacting a juror after the proceedings are over.
