Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

My husband and I are wanting to obtain a divorce we have 1 child age 11 and a home I want to be able to stay in the home and he is willing to agree but only if his name is off the deed is this possible?

Yes this is perfectly permissible. You are permitted to negotiate such things when attempting to settle a separation/divorce. There are many other issues, however, to consider for a complete settlement of all your issues related to marriage and your future coparenting. spouses share responsibility.
